Welcome to Our Saviour School!

Our focus at Our Saviour School is “student success”, with our faculty diligently working towards Our Saviour School becoming a Professional Learning Community.  Your child(ren) will be given the opportunity to grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually through classroom and extracurricular activities.

Our Saviour School strives to give our students the best academic setting to help them grow.  Our faculty are being trained by the Solutions Tree approach to Professional Learning Communities.  This model focuses on learning rather than teaching and encourages collaboration on matters related to learning.  This model holds team members accountable to results that fuel continual improvement.  While we move forward with our PLC initiative, the faculty at Our Saviour School continue to work to enhance our curriculum and student success by weekly PLC meetings.

Our ultimate goals for Our Saviour School becoming a PLC include:

  • Educators work in collaborative teams and take collective responsibility for student learning rather than working in isolation (MAP, Iowa, CFA)

  • Collaborative teams implement a guaranteed and viable curriculum, unit by unit

    • Guaranteed – Does not matter who the teacher is – all students will leave with the same knowledge and skill

    • Viable – The pace of the curriculum is doable.

  •  Educators use the results of common assessment to:

    • Improve their individual practice

    • Build their team’s capacity to achieve its goals

    • Intervene/enrich on behalf of students rather than teachers working in isolation

  • The school provides a systematic process for intervention and enrichment

We are committed to creating a Professional Learning Community at Our Saviour School through the hard work and diligence of our faculty!
